Books for preparation

For preparation, we got ourselfs the following books:



Lonely planet: Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos & the Greater Mekong. Lonely planet is one of the best sources regarding travelling.

Reise Know-How Kambodscha (in German): Offers interesting insights about culture and people.
National Geographic, Spirallo: Thailand (in German): A cheaper guide. I especially like the binding.

Lonely planet South-east Asia on a shoestring: Seems to provide useful information about cheap travelling!
Reise Know-How Kulturschock Tailand (in German): To protect ourselfs from the cultural shock :-) and to get some further information about the culture and habits in Thailand.

We, that is Domenika and Patrick (that makes Pomenika), are about to travel to East-Asia. We are going to start in Bangkok, Thailand. Everything else is still open, but we tend towards travelling through Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and maybe Malaysia.
